Building A Caring Community Through Compassion In Action

Helping Hands is our temple’s seva initiative, transforming compassion into lasting community impact through structured programs and volunteer-driven service.

Helping Hands embodies our temple’s commitment to seva, selfless service that uplifts those in need through measurable, sustainable community impact. Founded in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, it began as emergency food support. It has evolved into a structured community development program with transparent goals, careful resource allocation, and documented outcomes.

Guided by Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s teachings of love and selfless service, we welcome contributors of all backgrounds who share our commitment to compassionate action.

Disaster Relief

When natural disasters or humanitarian crises occur, we act swiftly, deploying essential aid and resources to those in urgent need. We channel our community's compassion into practical assistance, providing critical resources and fostering resilience in affected regions.

Homeless Outreach

On the last Sunday of each month, our team visits central London to support those who are sleeping rough. We offer hot drinks, food packs, hygiene essentials, and seasonal items like sleeping bags and warm clothing during the winter months.

Food Support

Every Saturday at 5pm, near Willesden High Road, we distribute nourishing meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity. We serve food and aim to restore a sense of dignity and hope to those facing hardship.

Blessing My Home

In today’s fast-paced world, we all seek peace, love, and strength. Satsang gatherings in God’s presence bring immeasurable energy. Bhagwan Swaminarayan taught us how simple living, daily remembrance of God, and temple connection give our lives energy, purpose, and protection. Today, as part of our 50th Mandir Patotsav, Sahajanand Sahayate, we invite all of you to not miss out on this unique opportunity of having our Harikrishna Maharaj & Esteemed Santo visit your homes.

Divine Mahapooja

In celebration of the upcoming Sahajanand Sahayate, Shree Swaminarayan Temple Willesden’s 50th Mahotsav, our esteemed Bhuj Santo will be performing divine Mahapoojas at Willesden Temple in the lead-up to the Utsav. Mahapooja is an immense medium for feeling the bliss of ‘Heaven Within’ our soul, allowing for the blessings of Bhagwan Almighty and His Mukto upon our lives.
